In 2013 Delta Upsilon Celebrated their 100th year on campus as well as being officially re-installed as a chapter at Iowa State.
Delta Upsilon, an international men's fraternity founded in 1834 at Williams College, is committed to Building Better Men through our four founding principles, friendship, character, culture, & justice, that challenge our brothers to expect nothing less than excellence from themselves and others.
There are no secrets with Delta Upsilon. No secret rituals. No secret oaths. No hazing. We are proud of what DU stands for and proud to be the world's only international fraternity committed to sharing our ideals, symbols, and rituals openly.
Since 1913, the Iowa State Chapter has believed that it is essential that you can share any of the great events we hold here with your friends and family. We are very active in Greek events such as Homecoming, Varieties, and Greek Week. We also have intramural teams in sports such as football, softball, basketball, and hockey. We like to keep involved in many activities because we believe this helps build better men. This philosophy of keeping involved goes with our motto of "A DU in everything and every DU in something."
|Philanthropy||Global Service Initiative, the international philanthropy that also serves as the international service project. The money raised sends undergraduate DU's to places like Jamaica, to build beneficial buildings, such as an elementary school, for those in the community. Other options include Washington D.C.|
