Leadership
The Greek Community at Iowa State offers endless opportunities for developing leadership skills in its members. Chapters encourage their members to be involved in chapter and campus-wide activities. Today, it takes more than a college degree to be successful. Employers want college graduates who have demonstrated leadership abilities and aren't afraid to get involved. The Greek Community is able to provide its members with these opportunities.
Chapter Officers
Each chapter has its own leadership structure. Chapter leaders are involved with activities as wide ranging as philanthropies, academic success, social functions, and personal development, just to name a few!
Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC)
CPC serves as the governing body of the sororities. Panhellenic officers serve as liaisons between the University and the Greek community. They develop programs to serve the entire Greek community, and assist individual chapter officers.
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
IFC serves as the governing body of fraternities at Iowa State. From assisting chapters with educational programming, marketing the community to new members and helping chapter comply with university guidelines, the council is a resource for the university, chapter, and men within the community.
Junior Greek Council (JGC)
A group of men and women who are first year members of their chapters who work in conjunction with CPC and IFC to build a strong foundation for future Greeks by encouraging the development of leadership skills, character, and camaraderie.
