Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) When you join one of the Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) sororities, you not only become a member of that particular chapter, you also become a member of the Panhellenic community. Interfraternity Council (IFC) Fraternity men can expect more from their leaders. The Interfraternity Council aids its member fraternities and colonies in the areas of recruitment, risk management, and academic achievement, service, public relations, budgeting, and educational programming. Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) The Multicultural Greek Council on the Iowa State University campus was created as a vehicle to improve and create dialogue and cooperation between parallel-goaled organizations. Membership is currently three fraternities and two sororities who are historically Latino/Latina and one fraternity for gay, bisexual, and progressive men. National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) The National Pan-Hellenic Council is comprised of the historically African-American fraternities and sororities on the Iowa State University campus. Under NPHC, fraternities and sororities unite to participate in community service and philanthropic activities that include: highway clean-up, Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity. NPHC also participates in leadership programs, balls, informational sessions, and socials to both support communication among chapters and improve campus minority relations.
