At Acacia Fraternity, we will strive to help you make your college years as fulfilling as possible. Our members range in a variety of majors from Aerospace Engineering to Music Education, and many decide to continue their education by pursuing masters and doctorate degrees. In the 2007/2008, over half of all members of the fraternity were on the Dean’s List and our academic programming was rated #1 internationally among all Acacia chapters. Acacia is celebrating its 100th year at Iowa State in the spring of 2009. In preparation for the celebration, a library/study area was added to the third floor of the house. If you are honestly seeking an extraordinary college experience and wish to distinguish yourself as a leader among your peers, Acacia Fraternity is where you need to be.

PhilanthropyAt Acacia Fraternity, our motto is "Human Service." We put this motto into action each year through philanthropic events to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a national voluntary health organization dedicated to conquering neuromuscular diseases. Our primary philanthropic effort goes to running an organization called Pages of Promise. The organization was co-founded by an alumni brother, and it collects thousands of new and used textbooks to send to under-funded schools and universities in Africa.
