Policy Regarding Department of Residence Contract Break
- Students who join the Greek Community on or before August 1, 2009 may cancel their Department of Residence Housing and Dining contract by forfeiting their $125 prepayment.
- Any student who cancels their Department of Residence contract after August 1, 2009 to move into a Greek chapter house will forfeit 80% of the unused daily room and board fee, plus the $125 prepayment, unless the chapter is eligible for additional contract breaks.
- After August 1 a limited number of contract breaks are available for Greek students at 15% of unused room and board. New members are advised to talk with their chapter leadership if they are interested in breaking their Department of Residence Housing and Dining contract after August 1.
- The standard Department of Residence Housing and Dining contract cancellation deadline for newly admitted students is May 1, 2009.

Contract Cancellation Process
- Membership Acceptance Card (Bid Card) must be received by The Office of Greek Affairs (or postmarked) within 72 hours of the new member acceptance (completed in full including signature and date).

New Member must cancel their contract with the Department of Residence
one of three ways:
- Online by logging onto ACCESS Plus account
- In Person by visiting the Department of Residence Office, OR
- Fax/Mail/E-mail by completing the 2009-2010 Housing Contract Cancellation Form and returning to the Department of Residence:
